The sculpture is inspired by a hug and was conceived during the first wave of the Corona pandemic. Jacinto Moros wanted to express in its form a hug that symbolizes how united all the people of the planet had to be to overcome the situation as well as to embrace their relatives, friends and professionals who were fighting against the pandemic such as the health workers, nurses, doctors and many more.
Die Skulptur steht als Sinnbild für eine Umarmung. Sie wurde während der ersten Corona Welle erschaffen. Jacinto Moros wollte in ihrer Form eine Umarmung zum Ausdruck bringen, die symbolisiert, wie vereint alle Menschen des Planeten sein mussten, um diese Situation zu überwinden und wie wichtig es gerade in jener Zeit war, seine Verwandten, Freunde und Fachleute - wie das Gesundheitspersonal, die Krankenschwestern und Ärzte - die gegen diese Pandemie kämpfen - zu umarmen.

Jacinto Moros is famous for his minimalist aesthetic. Renowned museums such as the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, Centre Pompidou in Paris or the Whitney Museum New York have already presented his oeuvre and have works in their collection.
Moros' graphic and sculptural works are based on a seemingly simple foundation: the line. From this, the artist develops in virtuoso mastery a nested structure of curves, similar to fluid vortices. These create a vibrating visual language of dynamics and movement.
The art of Jacinto Moros is purist and timeless, it radiates a unique lightness - and this is exactly where its poetic visual power lies, that captivates the viewer.
