Art Trip to Israel

This trip is exclusively for members of the Kunstfreunde Zürich. For further information please write to contact@kunstfreunde-zuerich.ch

Monday, November 4th to Friday, November 8, 2024

During November when the weather is still pleasant and warm, we will offer you a tailor-made, exquisite and diversified program that introduces the very best of contemporary art, culture and culinary highlights Israel has to offer.

We will visit artists’ studios (painters, sculptors, multi-disciplinary artists) and will also look into the fields of ceramics, design and Bauhaus architecture. Leading curators and artists will walk us through exhibitions at the Tel Aviv Museum, Israel Museum in Jerusalem and the Mishkan Museum in Kibbutz Ein Harod. Private collections and museums as well as renowned corporate collections will open their doors exclusively for you.

Having Tel Aviv as our center, we will also spend a day in Jerusalem and a day in the North of Israel. There we will have the chance to learn about Israeli and Palestinian art.

On the culinary side we will enjoy some of the best Mediterranean cuisine Israel has to offer.

This art tour is held in collaboration with Vered Gadish, a top curator and founder of Fireflies Project art agency who specializes in Contemporary Israeli art. Vered has successfully been in the art business for more than 20 years and has the very best of connections to high end collections, both private and corporate. Together with Vered we selected a unique, engaging and stimulating program.
